Summer weddings at Barton Farm's picturesque church were standard procedure for museum director Kelsey Cambridge—until the Cherry Foundation, which supports the museum, ordered Kelsey to host her ex-husband's wedding on Farm grounds.

Ambitious wedding planner Vianna Pine is determined to make the bride's Civil War-themed wedding perfect. But each time Vianna's vision threatens the integrity and safety of the Farm, Kelsey has to intervene. And when she finds Vianna's dead body at the foot of the church steps, everyone's plans fall apart. With both the wedding and Barton Farm at risk of being permanently shut down, Kelsey has to work hard to save her own happily ever after.

Only murder is worse than having to help plan your ex-husband's wedding--and it's not that much worse.Kelsey Cambridge, already busy running the Barton Farm living history museum, is anything but happy when she's required to provide the venue for Krissie Pumpernickel's wedding to Kelsey's former husband, Eddie. Krissie is a spoiled bridezilla whose constantly shifting plans are driving wedding planner Vianna Pine and assistant Piper Clark crazy. The entire staff is disturbed by Krissie's crazy requests, from asking the grumpy gardener to remove all plants that might have bugs to demanding that Kelsey put lights in the dangerously crumbling steeple of the church. Krissie would never do a favor for the woman who's instigating a custody battle over Kelsey and Eddie's 6-year-old son, Hayden, but the Cherry Foundation, which owns Barton Farm, forces her to work with Krissie and the wedding planners. When Vianna is found dead at the foot of the church steeple, Kelsey must figure out what happened. Since everything to do with Barton Farm is Kelsey's responsibility, stern warnings from Detective Brandon don't deter her from uncovering a number of hidden secrets as she tries to deal with Vianna's death, stolen museum artifacts, and the ever more hysterical demands of the bride, who seems a much more likely candidate for murder than the wedding planner. Flower's third features less history, more romance, and a stronger mystery than its predecessors (The Final Tap, 2016, etc.).
